Lockport Township High School will hold its Step-Up/STEM night for 8th grade families on Thursday, November 13, from 6 to 8 p.m. The event will take place at the Central Campus located at 1222 Jefferson Street in Lockport, Illinois.
The high school is also opening online registration for incoming ninth-grade students who plan to attend during the 2026-2027 school year. Families are asked to complete their student’s registration by November 15. Completing registration by this deadline will help ensure a smooth transition and preparation for course selection scheduled for Saturday, January 31, 2026.

Fairmont School District 89 serves Will County and includes Fairmont School within its boundaries. According to the Illinois State Board of Education, the district has a diverse student population: approximately 12.7 percent White, 38.5 percent Black, and 46 percent Hispanic students.
