Lockport Township High School District 205 will require students in grades 9 through 11 to participate in the PreACT on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. The PreACT is a practice version of the ACT designed to help students become familiar with the test format and build confidence in their test-taking abilities.
On testing day, freshmen will take the PreACT 9, sophomores will take the PreACT, and juniors will also take the PreACT. Seniors are not scheduled for regular classes and are encouraged to use the day for college or trade school visits, career exploration or job shadowing, or community service activities.
Testing for freshmen, sophomores, and juniors is expected to conclude at approximately 10:30 a.m., after which students will follow an amended schedule for the remainder of the day.
