Lockport - Patrick L. McDonald Sr., 67, a longtime Lockport resident, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, surrounded by his family. McDonald, who served as the 2nd Ward Alderman in Lockport, co-owned and founded Andromeda Technology Solutions. He was a past commissioner for AYSO Soccer through the Lockport Park District and volunteered with the security team at Parkview Christian Church. Known for his sense of humor, willingness to help others, and love for spending time with his family outdoors, McDonald will be deeply missed by the community. Preceded in death by his parents, Loren and Elizabeth McDonald, and nephew Joseph McDonald, he is survived by his wife of 46 years, Joann McDonald, children Shannon, Patrick Jr., and Kevin, grandchildren, siblings, and numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation and Chapel Service will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at O’NEIL FUNERAL HOME in Lockport. Cremation rites will be conducted. Our heartfelt condolences go out to the McDonald family during this difficult time.
