Malachi Hood records 1 tackle in Illinois’ win over Nebraska

On Friday, September 20, Malachi Hood, a former standout Joliet Catholic Academy athlete, contributed to the Illinois Fighting Illini’s 31-to-24 win over the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

Hood is a 6’2’ 225-pound sophomore linebacker.

He recorded one tackle, helping the Illinois Fighting Illini control the Nebraska Cornhuskers offense.

Illinois’ football team is a NCAA’s Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) team that plays in the Big Ten Conference.
