Diane Gay Mueller | O'Neil Funeral Home And Heritage Crematory - Lockport

Lockport - Diane Gay Mueller, 68, formerly known as Diane Beneventi, peacefully passed away at home on Friday, November 1, 2024, in Lockport, surrounded by her loving family. A lifelong Lockport resident, she enjoyed horror movies, visiting the casino, playing nickel slots, browsing the Dollar Store, reveling in Halloween, and hunting for treasures at garage sales. Despite her various interests, her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, particularly her grandchildren.

Diane is survived by her husband of 50 years, Joe Mueller Sr., children Joseph II (Josephine) Mueller of Joliet and Myriah (Leonard Jr.) Krch of Lockport, grandchildren Joey III, Edward Mueller, Lenny III, Killian, Owen, and Emmett Krch, brother Jay (late Beth) Beneventi of Lockport, and aunt Cheri Jeans of Lemont, along with numerous family members and friends.

Cremation rites have been respectfully observed. A memorial gathering to celebrate Diane's life will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at O'Neil Funeral Home Chapel in Lockport, IL, from 1:00 pm until the 3:00 pm memorial service, officiated by Pastor Jon Pedersen of Shepherd of the Hill Lutheran Church.
