Lockport Township High School organized a morning parade led by its drumline on November 22 to honor the Girls Volleyball team for securing third place at the state competition.
According to the event's details, Lockport triumphed over Oswego in the Sectional Finals with scores of 25-21, 25-21. The team then proceeded to defeat Downers Grove South in the Super-Sectionals with scores of 23-25, 25-9, and 25-22.
Lockport achieved a victory against Huntley for the third-place win with scores of 25-12 and 25-21. However, they were defeated by Chicago Marist in the State Semifinals.
The season concluded with Lockport achieving a record of 35 wins and five losses, marking their best performance in ten years under Head Coach Nick Mraz.
