James Pilapil records 3 points and 1 assist in Illinois Tech Scarlet Hawks’ contest with Wisconsin Lutheran Warriors

On Saturday, January 11, James Pilapil, the former standout Joliet Catholic Academy athlete, took the court in the Illinois Tech Scarlet Hawks’ 96-to-48 loss to the Wisconsin Lutheran Warriors.

The 5′10″ freshman guard put up three points and one assist in seven minutes of action.

Pilapil was not the only former Lockport Ledger area athlete to play in Saturday’s game. Jason Pilapil also played for Scarlet Hawks in the game.

Jason Pilapil, a 6′0″ junior guard from Joliet Catholic Academy, contributed two points and one steal in five minutes.

Up next for the Scarlet Hawks: on Wednesday, January 15 at 7 p.m., Illinois Tech plays against the Rockford Regents at home.
