Former Joliet Catholic Academy standout Daniel O'Brien played on Friday, May 16 in hopes of reaching the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship

On Friday, May 16, former Joliet Catholic Academy standout Daniel O'Brien’s current collegiate team the Lewis Flyers won 7-3 against the Missouri S&T Miners in the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship.

The game took place at GVSU Baseball Field at 12 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Missouri S&T Miners in the tournament.

The Lewis Flyers’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 17 at 11 a.m. at GVSU Baseball Field.
