Lockport Township Park District is hosting a Juneteenth event on Thursday, June 19th. The event, titled "Juneteenth: A Ce-Liberation of Freedom," celebrates emancipation and honors the history, culture, and resilience of the African American community.
The celebration will take place at A.F. Hill Park on Green Garden Ave from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
The Park District invites families to attend and enjoy the event.
