Fairmont Community Partnership Group, Inc. will hold Community Dumpster Days from October 25 to October 27 at 525 Barry Ave, Lockport, IL. The event is free for residents and aims to assist with waste disposal.
Residents can bring mattresses, rugs, and furniture for disposal. Items not accepted include e-waste such as TVs and computers, large appliances like washers and dryers, hazardous materials including oils and chemicals, old car parts, and tires. Yard waste must be separated from other items.
Seniors who need help can make an appointment by calling 815-723-3577 between 9:00 AM and 7:00 PM on weekdays. Assistance for seniors will be available on Saturday, October 25.
