White Oaks Library District is organizing a Holiday Open House at its three branches in early December. The event will feature visits from Santa and Mrs. Claus, along with cookies, hot cocoa, crafts for all ages, and other activities for families.

The open house will take place at the Lockport Branch on Tuesday, December 2; Crest Hill Branch on Wednesday, December 3; and Romeoville Branch on Thursday, December 4. Each event is scheduled from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

"Get in the holiday spirit and enjoy a night of fun for the whole family! Enjoy cookies and hot cocoa, crafts for all ages, and a special visit," organizers stated.

Fairmont School District 89 serves Will County and includes Fairmont School as part of its district boundaries (https://www.illinoisreportcard.com/). The district has a diverse student population that is approximately 12.7 percent White, 38.5 percent Black, 46 percent Hispanic, and 0.3 percent Asian according to data from the Illinois State Board of Education (https://www.illinoisreportcard.com/).
